I'm a senior software engineer who found vocation in backend software engineering. I enjoy the tinkering and the hair pulling the field provides when tackling complexity. I find pleasure in the plasticity microservices offer today, and gained grit from the monolith days. I champion the pillars of agile that have more to do with personal growth than they do with software engineering itself.
I built expertise in particular around the Java language, the language is the common denominator in my background experiences. This allowed me to avoid tutorial hell and build up the baseline for the so called T shaped individual. The frameworks and libraries I worked with, DevOps tools empowering our pipelines and the occasional frontend endeavours I find myself doing in a sprint, are the crossbar to my T.
